Summer Camp

Our roster is full for Summer Camp 2024. However, there tends to be movement in our summer camp waitlist. Families are encouraged to fill out the enrollment inquiry form (upper right corner, “enroll”) to be added to our summer camp waitlist.

Want to start a summer camp of your own? We’ll help you! There is such a need in our community. Go to “Coaching and Consulting” under “Programs” above.

During June, July, and August, our preschool expands. We welcome slightly older kids into our community and we share longer days together. Programming is largely the same as the school year, with kid-inspired play in the mornings and exploring in the afternoons.

Enrollment begins in February for summer camp in June. We would love to hear from you, make a plan, and show you the space before that time. However, we do not begin enrollment or start the waitlist until February in the year of the desired program enrollment.

Summer Camp 2024:

Session 1: June 17-July 3 (no camp on July 4 this year)

Session 2: July 8-25

(one week of break)

Session 3: August 5-22

Monday-Thursday

9:00-3:00

Families can enroll for four or two days per week. Each session is a unit; families may enroll for one session or all three sessions but the minimum enrollment time is three weeks.

Tuition:

$300/week, 4 days per week

$150/week, 2 days per week

To build a strong community dynamic, we encourage families to enroll for as much of the summer as possible.

Please note that we only accept WCCC subsidies during the school year, not during summer camp.

The difference between three years old and seven years old is huge. And in other ways, the difference isn’t that much. Our multi-age summer camp team feels like a group of neighborhood kids getting together to play at the park. These days, especially these Covid days, that doesn’t happen very much. But it’s likely that you have magical memories of pickup baseball or building forts with your friends, right? I (Erin) spent countless summer days riding bikes to the creek and catching frogs. The big kids lead the way, the little kids bring some excitement, and Summer Camp at BFS truly is something special.
